Hi,
I'm an IMG, getting ready for '08 match,
The thing is, I'm really into DERMATOLOGY, but chances for an IMG as I understand are quite around zero.
So I'm wondering if Family Medicine offers Dermatology practice, or say after I finish FM residency would I get to do derm fellowship?
i.e.: If I matched in Family Medicine, would I get to deal with derm patients and/or be in charge of derm clinics at any point?
In other words: Is there any possible way to Dermatology through Family Medicine ? How much related are they? and what opportiunities do I have ?
Please let me know of your experiences,
And if any of you is in FM please please please tell me more about FM practice and lifestyle in the states. How's it like as compared to int.med. for instance?
