sfk wrote:i dont like physiology any more i know it doesnt make much sense writing it here, but i'm really struggling with the charts, graphs and even the plain simple information. when i was in school, i was good at it. Gone are those days... Dont know what to do. go through the physio. book you had in med. school to help you out. i had guyton, i think it's still a good book if you happen to get lost somewhere. goljan is also good, but again, it's all about what you feel comfortable with. once you read out of your med. school book, it'll all come back to you, and then understanding kaplan or whichever book you're studying from right now won't be as difficult. it won't take long. as you say, you were good at it back then, then you'll still be, just a matter of going through it quickly and it'll all be refreshed! no point in dragging thru kaplan and feeling like everything is whizzing past you. don't get in to the details too much when you open guyton, keep kaplan alongside to keep you on the main points and refresh your concepts, then come back to kaplan and finish up!
