Hey Dr. EJCV congrats!!! I'm happy 4 U; and of course we can, if we want, do everything, nothing is impossible!, actually I just talked with a friend of mine that failed step 1, and I told her just that, if I did it, you can and you'll do it great... God is on our side  , so just keep going there's so much to do.

Hey Dr. EJCV. So I see you went to Dallas to take the Falcon Review Course. Did it really helped.WOuld you recommend it. I am a FMG and have aalready taken step 1 twice. This last time I did not pass it either,got a 65 (Needed 74 to pass).

Haha mapa....mis disculpas senorita/senora?! Haha dont want to mess up again! I didnt mean to categorize you just the comment was made in general! Thanks for the congrats anyways! God is always on our side thats true, this just gave me the strenght to keep on going and to realize that it is possible...good luck on your Step3 and keep on giving support to those who fail I think its a very important part of everyone's quest here!
Raphymed: The Falcon courses, as they say, are designed to make you pass....I would recommend it because they really focus on teaching what you need to know in order to pass, they also have or are acquiring the best teachers as well (I heard Goljan is teaching Path now)...so it is a good choice for you, being you are familiar with the material but I guess you need some more guidance to studying...how did you study for the last two? Also, comparing with other courses, its cheaper and you are involved very much in studying...I mean you live in a Hotel for a month and a half and everyone around you is doing the same thing...so if you have trouble studying (like me) and need the daily pressure I would totally recommend it...but the important thing is not to give up....keep trying to pass it until you do! I still have to pass it...its tough but it CAN BE DONE!!!

Where are the places that we have the highest chance to match because we speak SPAñOL
there might be places that the patients only speak spanish so that will be a + for us

Ivone I tought that Texas was not that IMG friendly
and to get a spot there as an IMG you need a very VERY high grades and good credentials.
I have been looking for internal medicine in NY, and ALL the places have high minimun credentials to apply there. Yes they are friedly for spanish speaking but they ask TO MUCH at least for internal medicine. For FM and psychiatry its look better.
I will add New jersy and conet, as IMG friendly

Hey ppl....I am 100% sure that both NY and Chicago are IMG friendly, I have a couple of friends there and I think those are the places I'll go for when I finish...NY is tough to get in true, but you can....I've also heard that Atlanta is a good IMG friendly state...sooo:
