As the title says I’m looking for a study partner who is at the same level as me. I’m a pre-clinical med student at U of Copenhagen and I’ve covered immunology, gross anatomy + histology, genetics, molecular biochem excluding metabolism, cellular and neuro physiology, and now I’m doing behavioral science, expecting to finish in 2½ weeks. For the upcoming semester I will be covering the rest of the biochem, physio, and anatomy of the inner organs. I’ll be taking step1 roughly 2 years from now on. My goal is nothing less than to ace the USMLE step 1 exam and I expect you to have the same goal and mentality.
You have to live in a time zone close to mine i.e. +1 GMT +- 1 hour, we can talk over skype or whatever communication program of your choice. My plan is to discuss topics once or twice per week, the main objective is to find out which parts we have missed to emphasize.

Very interesting, Im sure youll be a great study partner but too bad i just dont know how these online study groups work out. You know all of us have different life complexities, circumstances and cuz we're still in school each one of us has only finished cirtain classes but not all of the basic sciences (atleast this is my case). Im looking desperately for a real life study partner that has your same educational and intellectual qualifications.
So, yes i think i suit your demands but ... , maybe if you start a group online like the others with mytime and other IMGs are doing and we see your way of managing the whole thing, things will become so much clearer.
GL... Oh, by the way, i was planning on going for it in about one year from now. Dont you think two years would be really more than enough for you?

I'm an upcoming 4th semester student, all basic sciences will be covered at my school until after 7th semester, so that's a 2 year gap.
I'm afraid I do not have the energy to organize a study group consisting of multiple persons and considering this is already one on this forum I don't see a reason on why to start another one.

Oh, Im done with my first two years (4 semesters) from a 6 year long system + 1 year of internship. I have one more year of basic sciences and will be done with them and thats why im planning to take the exam next year in summer vacation after im done with these subjects and before i forget everything and get used to the clinical routine.

hi guys...
am over. wid 4th year..of 6+1 pattern...
i realised..usmle only few monts..bck..how i wish.i knew it all when i ws studyin bsic sciences itself!....never mind...anyhow...
i am bit..confused rite now..abt the timepattern..i mean..goal..when wudi give stp1...
i hve allredy given a post..askin 4 advices..if they cud help me.!:.
anycase..
need to move on..
i guess..more important than deciding dates..is atleast to start the preps..!..makn use of time in a useful way!
i wud certianly entertain a partner in that regard..
but unfortuanately i dont really know how to extract/contribue to a partner..
i know it ..is gud 4 one reason..it keeps u in fashion and IN-TRACK always..which i guess a guy like me severly wants.
