This is maybe the 3-4th time that i almost fall asleep while watching the physio. lectures !!! im totally alert before and after the lecture but during it i just struggle to stay awake! i still have almost 23 lectures to go ... is there anyway to get over this drowziness? now back to the lecture (sweet dreams !)

He sure is very slow, some people were able to increase the play speed, I was never successful for some unknown reason. Playing it faster might help.
He is just too calm with is '' IT"S VEEERY IMPOOORTANT " !

try to play it faster ... yah, i hread NNL saying that to someone else ... i tried that but i dont know why that option is disabled in windows media player ...

Yes, same is here, not able play is faster in WMP.  It was so frustrating for me during Physio lectures, he is just too slow.

After finishing Physio someone adviced me to use this, did not use it bc I was done with dvds.

Thanks GoodGirl! I tried it just now, it works great! But it is only a trial version for a week that is free. After that you need to purchase the software for $20.
I have the same problem.... feel soooo sleepy and can't concentrate I guess all of us are in the same boat
I have heard that there is a software called PowerDVD which is used to watch videos/movies on the comp....it has 1.25X, 1.5X and 2X speed options. But even this is expensive to buy.

One way to avoid sleeping during the phys lectures... is to NOT watch them! haha I tried it, then like 20 seconds later i stopped it. There was NOOO way i was going to sit through that.
Just horrible. Soo boring.
FA and Pass program for Physiology were more than enough for me. (And Dr. Francis from the Pass videos will actually keep you awake!)

Like all the other web prep audios, they are very condenced. There are 30 video lectures but there are only 21 audios. By the way, i dd not use them so i dont know what theire exact content is.

guys...I swear youre gonna want to find and hug that zzzzzzzzzz-zy guy after the exam bc all his VEEEEEEEEEEERY IMP POINT TO UNDERSATNNNNDDDD sentences hits the bulls eye in the exam !
p4a99...how about this..buy a fine relieving notebook and try to take notes as if you have no Kaplan book and as if those will be the only souce of review for you ! lemme know if you can zzzzzzz now

well actually bc Im an old grad I was more comfortable by listening first with taking notes and then reading...but that depends absolutely on you dear  in whwtever turn you do it...taking notes may keep you alert

it seems like physio is going to take for ever! biochem was smoother, not easier but faster... thanks for you advice...

hey p499, how's ur lecture listening going?? do u have quick player in your pc? u cud use that , it can play dvd's in 2x mode. i had it in my pc, but i was looking for ways to play the dvd's fast on real and media player. i tried good girl's links as well. n then i discovered it while playing around with my pc. i thought i'll share it with u and all others.
