I agree with DOC CLOTAIRE, Lower back pain always excludes RA.

morning stiffness - always <20-30 mins in OA
- >30mins in PMR
- >1 hr.in RA
am I right?and does anybody want to add anything else?

yeah but i am asking about C1-C2 involvement in particular, as morning stiffness will be present even without cervical spine involvement

atlanto axial subluxation....anesthesia intubation...screened with xray and spine stabilized if present

we need to know the invovment of cervical spine in RA, it may lead to spinal card compression and quadriplegia and respiratory paralysis. Is there any thing else?
