jj, install the rar software, then all compressed files will appear 'rar'ed. then right click on the files and click 'extract here'.

bioguy, have you taken the step 1 yet? do you think that this qs will help me. i took the exam a mounth ago and i fail. people told me that this qs ( nbme) are really good for the exam. i made the usmlewolrd qs and i thought that they were very good. what do you think?

no i haven't taken the test yet. i actually started my preparation this week. i am sorry, i am not experienced enough to recommend any preparation strategy. but i would suggest you to go through this thread
