You see a 6-year-old girl for precocious puberty. She has elevated FSH,LH and pubertal levels of estradiol.The bone age is advanced beyond the height and chronological age. The most likely cause is:
A)idiopathic
B)CNS tumor
C)Ovarian tumor
D)functional ovarian cyst
E)congenital adrenal hyperplasia

B, incrased FSH and LH point to central problem

The correct ans is A.idiopathic. It is a central precocious puberty, and we should do the imaging and neurological and visual exams, but it is most likely idiopathic
