How can we distinguish in klinefelter syndrome if the error occured in meyosis or in mitosis? In other words how can we recognize a mosaicism? I think that if the 2 x chrom have different polymorphisms on them it must be an error in meyosis I, but how about distinguishing between an error in meyosis II and early embryo's mitosis?

mitosis occures in autosomes. meoosis - in germ cells( gametes) An error in cell division called nondisjunction can result in reproductive cells with an abnormal number of chromosomes.
