I have a problem, though my typing speed is good but the thing is when you have to type P/E , and then ':' key and then write words like PERRLA & NC/ AT / CTA / LAD / BS+, DTR 5/5, Heart rate RRR, WNL, and VS description and HOPI , Carotid pulses 2+ , There is too much use of 'Shift' Key and one makes lots of mistakes and one has to repeatedly go back using cursor.

Given the pattern of the exam , and the sort of pressure and fear of unknown factor + time management and moving to and fro with cursors watching for mistakes , IS IT OKAY TO WRITE THE ACRONYMS IN SHORT ALBAHABETS ???? such

perrla/ bs +/ Cta b/l , HEENT : nc/at, No JVD, no lymphadenopathy , carotids 2+ , vs= wnl etc or if not then i guess we have to resort to pen papers, but the pens used are not that user friendly as i have heard, & u cant take ur own pens. kindly respond with info.

I didn't take the exam yet but I am going to write. It is impossible for me to pass the PMH typing within 10 minutes. ah,ah not gonna happen. It sounds great if we can use a familiar pen and more importantly to have enough ink. Thanks God my writing is legible.
best of luck DrFrank

Question
Is the paper format like FA? or is it a blank paper?
