hello friends,
I just wanted some insight or advice on this matter. I've been prepareing for USMLE for 1.5 months now, and i took my first NMBE. The score was 310. I'm feeling rather dissappointed. i've only covered biochem, physio, and a few pages of first aid path and both biochem and physio were below borderline. any advice? or in general about how to tackle the subjects?

You've been studying for 1.5 months only .....
infact you can't study phys or biochem in a better way .... it is integration of information that is tested in the real exam.
at least try reading FA as a whole before doing another NBME form and try to understand info instead of just memorizing them.
the best thing to do is delete any impression that you have got from your first NBME.
and then finish everything for the first time, do FA, some questions, and after that do another NBME and you'll see that you'll immediately cross the 400 landmark.

Imagen you go into a diet to loose 100 pounds, and after the first day you feel bad because you have lost only 2 pounds.

haha, well put, gogeta  .
well, dr40ne, how will you score well on the nbme when you have not yet covered half the subjects tested on the exam? don't do the nbme prematurely. it will only pull your confidence down. i've been preparing seriously for 2 months now. and im still a while away from facing the nbmes.
so, take heart and take it easy. you're going to be fine. good luck!

Does anybody had NBME Score 210 in 3 weeks before real exam?
How I can improve it? .... UW, FA, Goljan or something else?

dude no offense but 210 is a 136
Do not take the test, unless you were drunk, dehydrate and after spending the entire night ,,, then I will say take another NBME and see where you stand, if not dont take it.
I dont want to sound mean, but its better that you hear that from a guy in the internet, than ffrom the USMLE with a FAIL.

thanks guyz. will keep the FA in mind and hit it again. This whole things is just overwhelming sometimes. and why wouldn't it be right?
