Hi. I'm the latest to join this forum....10 min back. I've taken step 1 3 months back - 94/226. Wanna do much better in step 2. I wanna take it soon in order to apply for 2008 match. I know i need to study too, in a fix. Have sent the application 3 days back, don't know how long they'll take to process it. I'm an img. Anyone for study partners in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />india, or online?
Have read kaplan obg twice. Did im, psychiatry (long back) once. Doing paeds and surgery. Lots to do...

i was struggling to finish the text and dvds. just done. now doing kap q bank. wanna do UW but i don't know if i have enough time, plan to take the test on 16th june. when will i revise??
need to make time by losing sleep!

well, its getting tougher. planning to take ck on aug 16th. so 24 days to go from now!! doing UW at about 60-65%. not very hapy but seeing others do well with the same score is heartening to an extent.
theres so much to do in IM, i tend to lose temper now and then. also because i wanna be in good position for this years match, but i dunno when will my 2ck result come.. also my observership will end in sept last week. really wondering what to do!!! also bothered about l.o.r and p.s.
hope to keep the studying going well despite all this.

hi everyone.
it really doesnt seem like a kids task which ppl call it after taking the teat.
i really wanna score a 99 in 2ck and am finding it tough to go about it. have had viral fever that took last 4-5 days of half hearted studying.
well now i'm done with 2 readings of about 85% of kaplan books.
am doing 2-3 UW tests in timed mode each day and the scores are very variable-the average being 62% and i'm about half through with UW. dont know what to make out of it.
FA isn't available anywhere, wondering what to do.
have exam on 16th aug and i'm not planning to postpone it.
anyones wise suggestions on whats best to do from now with juat 2 weeks to go?
i'm getting really bothered and tensed.

I am just at my starting point, not much to say. But I believe keeping it cool is very important right now. And review the high yield knowledge you already know but not memorized would help a lot. And keep practicing the Qbanks would be helpful too.
Based on your step 1 score, I know for sure you will do better on this one.

thanks for the encouragement.
i postponed the exam by 5 days, taking it on 21st. guess that was the minimum time needed. i wonder am i on th eright track though.
nearly finished UW with 64%.
did kaplan simulated2003- got 73% (isnt that low if you're targetting 99%ile).
felt reading text wasnt helping me much, so shut the books and got into tests-5 /6 each day. hope this helps.
wondering if i'm on th eright track for 90 or 95 or 99!
planning to take NBME in 2 days, a week before the exam.

thought i'd take a break from questions and read my notes and a few other things before taking NBME tomorrow.
nearly done with notes, 1 book missing, wondering what to do...
little sleepy too.
i can do it, i can take tomorrow's exam seriously and do well.....yes i can.
i'll get back to books.

hi there.
i am happy the score isn't bad but i really don't know how to feel about it. i took NBME form 1 today and scored 580 equiv to 235. i would like to know what you think of it...
wasn't a bit confident confident this morn so took a little over an hour per test. shall take form 2 tomorrow perhaps.

took NBME form 2 today and got just 470.
disheartened. had 580 in form 1 which i took day before yeaterday, and wanted as close to that as possible or even better.
don't know where to take it from here.
i wanted a 99. and i want a 99, just that i dont know how to get that from now..
pls suggest
