You probably have q-book... I flunked step 2 CK once, after many years went for step 1 and tomorrow I am sitting for step 2 CK. Personally, I think one must sit for usmle step 1 first. Use the books you have, they are good, but do at least 1 month of usmleworld.

Sincerely,, Go for step 1.. In step 2 u will find lots of questions about from step 1. Some people have gone for step 2 first and have got good scores but then why take a chance...

I agree with Munnabhai. Go for step 1 and then step 2

Does it make that big difference to sit for USMLE step 1 first than Step 2? I have just start studying for Usmle step 2 and I do not find many questions that could have being answered by stydying for one first. Do you think that it is so crucial to sit for Step 1 first? Thank you verymuch in advance, Elpida P.S.Good luck to you Arlete.

Hii all of u: first GOOD LUCK arlete i hope u will do well in your exam and tell us what u did in the exam, thanks all of u for replaying,i know every one is telling me to do step one first but i feel step one needs more time, consentration, alot of things to cover and staying at home which i don't do beacuse i work 9hrs a day,but i did some of step 2 ck and i feel it doesn't has relation with step one maby only from the pharmacology site. what makes me go more withstep 2ck is that i have more clinincal knowledge than the basic and i have one of my freinds got 99 in step2ck with out doing step one first. i don't know, what about u Elpida did u do step one or u are like me thinking of doing step 2 first? thanks everyone

elpida and dr. samar: Thank you, guys... I'll be back at the end of the day, relieved for sure. I have a friend who passed step 2 CK first, than step 1. For me step 1 first worked better, and I even went back to step 1 books while studying for step 2. But that's personal, there's no rules that apply to everybody. Bye!
