actually korsakoff pyshosis...patient will confuse us rather than confused himself...becos of confabulation to fill up his memory deficits...wernickes encephalopathy is acute condition..of ophthalmoplegia.. added i think.. please explain me if i am wrong

for subdural haematoma to be answered, the clinical vignette must specify truamatic experience. that is actually an advantage of taking a standardized test. in real life anything could be anything, but on a standardized test(USMLE), they must specify trauma, for you to consider subdural haemorrhage. while wernicke encephalopathy is charecterised by peripheral neuropathy, which is not specified in vignette. and importantly look what question is asking, what is MOST COMMON in alcoholics. that is clearly korsakoff psychosis.
