it ain't easy!!! make sure u give u'reself a break once in awhile...for sure once a week take the day off ...and completely relax that day or u just end up burning ureself out study 12+ hrs 3-4 months right before the exam not earlier...that's my advice... i've been studying for this exam for so long i'm just so tired, all i'm thinking of is when is the *&^% exam gona b over? i've missed out on so much coz of this exam & I hope, God willing, it'll be worth it in the end... good luck & btw, it helps to keep coming to the forum esp for me, it gives me the inspiration to keep studying

Dear Yoga the begginig is always difficult, because everything seems new for you. After reading some topics, everything seems more familliar and you will be more willing to continue. For me, studying is just like exersice. At the beggining, I am slow, after I warmed up, I enjoy it and like to continue. So don't be dissapointed, just keep on studying.

pick up your most favorite and easy subject, after a few pages you'll realize how much you love medicine. thats whats happening to me now. i am an old grad and its been hard to initiate the study schedule, but its been just 3 days since i started studying, with pathology, and the very first few pages of cell injury / inflammation etc got me going with full pace - because i love this subject!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i totally agree with propanolol on prep4usmle being my inspiration, that's exactly what i'm doing right now ,i sat down to study while my family is watching a good movie and i was not in a mood to study at all and then i logged on to this thread and start reading diff. things and while i'm reading thru people's experiences that sounds exactly like mine, now i'm more motivated and ready to study again. this website always do the trick!
