Tomorrow is the day when most of the forum members enter into residency training; who contributed their experiences, wisdom and support on this forum for the past 1 year. This was a roler coaster ride with an episode of sinus tachycardia as soon as we saw a new email in the inbox and then feeling of doom when inbox remained empty for more than a week. Eventhough I had a lot of doubts b/w september 2006 till I got my visa stamped in May 2007, I now look at these past few months and cannot help smiling. All praise to Almighty for fulfilling our dreams.

I want to thank all of you for the support and advice I recieved on this forum and want to congratulate you on your success in obtaining a residency spot this year. Best wishes for all those who were unsuccessful at this time but will grab a better spot and future for themselves very soon. Hard work and determination will pay off.

I started my residency on June 18th and am enjoying my time. It is hard work and you may take some time to get acquainted to the new system; yet it is fun and provides you with a sense of fulfillment. The ride is not over yet, it is just on a different path now. Good luck to all.

You shouldn't just work hard and will be taking calls in no time.

I am postcall actually, at ICU unit... nice start huh? hehe... It is great so far, tons of work but I'm definitively enjoying it... Good Luck Moozy, enjoy your clinic and don't forget to read everyday...
