if there is a girl, 16 yrs old who comes to u and she is pregnant, the girl asks u not to tell her parents abt it. What wud u do.
A. Tell the parents.
B. Encourage the girl to tell the parents
C. Treat her without telling the parents.
What should we do? Pls explain!

well she does'nt need any parental consent in this case to have a counseling regarding her prenatal care, but even if she does'nt tell the obvious truth won't remain hidden in preganancy cases and also can adversely effect the fetus as the pregnancy advances, so the minor should be enciouraged to tell her family while the counseling should be provided at patient's own consent.
