borderline personality disorder infact is borderline of schizophrenia. this is characterised by mood instability and they classically depict splitting. they exhibit suicidal tendency also. so, not exactly correct vignette. i think it is better if people post most USMLE like questions, as boards never ask these single fact biopsy type of questions.
