kaplan says abortion in minors is not legal in any states without parental consent... while UW refer the issue of abortion in the cotext of pregnancy and says that patient even a minor has the right to decide about abortion without parental consent because its an issue relating to pregnancy. Which one is correct?

i believe UW is correct on this one. As far as i know, minors can get Tx for all matters relating to pregnancy, from getting OCP's to abortion, without parent consent. Someone plz correct me if i'm wrong!

I agree with the Young_doc. This issue also includes issues like getting the contraceptives, getting the sexual education & also treatment for the STDs.

Hey all, Today when I looked at the FA, they've mentioned that in most of the states in US it is imperative that we obtain consent of parents for abortion. So now looking back i think both Kaplan & FA have the same view , so i change my answer to taking the parental consent in this regard.
