i have a question. when we face an abused wife, do we need to give her a phone number and suggest her to call for help? we'll only have a paper for taking the notes, how to give her the phone number? can we just tell her that "our nurse will give you a list of phone number that you can call when you face any emergency or when you need help" ..... does anyone know how to deal with abused cases properly?

yeah u are rite just after all ur good words and counselling .... say after asking u few more questions ( if ur history is not over yet ) and examining u i will give u a print out with names and contact numbers of resources available, u can conatct and talk to them whenever u feel like ( pause ) i have kept my conatct info with nurse too , so if u want to talk to me u can contact me anytime ..... smile .... alrite...
