when I was doing online kaplan qbank, I was doing some 250-300 questions. But finally towards the exam I was doing some 50-100 questions and about 10 days before exam, I was fed up (to be really honest) of questions. I wanted to read more theory. I also took mock exams from the kaplan cd, blackwellmedstudent.com a week before exam and gave me a feel for how taxing the real exam might be in times of number of questions (mental fatigue!).
all the best mjl.

I wouldnt really recommend that. Initially as you read more of text, one can do some 30 -50 questions a day. I remember doing Applenton and Lange simulataneously in the night after dinner when I could not learn something new from books. Then here and there, like on forums, keep doing questions. Because on the main day, it is all about answering mcqs. And your brain tends to get fatigued easily if you have not given that training before.
All the best,
Meg
