A. low oxygen concentration
B. low ketoacids such as pyruvate
C. High carbon dioxide concentration
D. all of the above

yeah u both r right.
actually metranidazole need electrone for its activation. this electrone is provided by ferredoxine. ferredoxine combine with the pyruvate and form pyruvatre:ferredoxine complex which is reduced by pyruvatre;ferredoxine reductase and release electrone which is used by the metranidazole..
