I have 4 LORs at this moment, 2 of them good, the others not so good..., I wanted to send the 4 of them to ERAS ASAP, but maybe I´ll be able to get some better LORs in octuber..., what should I do, send the 4 now or send the 2 good ones and wait until october to see if I get the other LORs?..., I mean if I send the 4 now, am I able to cancel 2 of them later and then send 2 new ones?...

I dont think you can canceled the letters that have been sent and uploaded on ERAS, especially progs will start downloading from sep 1st.
May be I'm wrong though.
Why dont you send 2 GOOD LORs + 1 "not so good" LOR now so you are ready to apply on Sep 1st. Then you can add the 4th GOOD one when it is available in Oct?

Heres what i think,
You can send as many LORs as u want. First send whatever u have now...whenever you get more lors send them too. Now when you apply to programs, you have to click/assign LORs to those programs, which will be the ones u sent at first because you will be applying sept 1st. Once you assign LORs to programs you cannot Un-assign them. If you want the program to see your new LOR, you will have to email them syaing you got a new one.
I maybe wrong though.

catmd and step2 thanks for replying..., I think both are good options..., but still not sure what to do...
Anyone else knows which of the 2 options could be better:
Apply with 2-3 LORs and latter (oct) send 1-2 LORs
OR
Apply with 4 LORs from the beginning (2 not good though) and then send new LORs to each program although not through ERAS...
I think I´ll go with the 2nd option....
Any advice greatly appreciated...

hey i think ur sending LORs to ERAS doesnt make them available to the programs. when u will apply that time u can choose which of the LORs u want to send to which program. correct me people.

yes....it does work that way....you send as many lors as u wish....but then ul have to checkmark what lors u will assign to each program....so...send everything now, choose later....

Yes noxar and motorola, you guys are right, it works that way..., but still if I apply on sept 1st, I have to checkmark the LORs at that time and I´ll not have the LORs I´m gettig in oct..., are you able to change one of the LORs for another once you applied to a program?...

once the program has downloaded ur application from the eras post office, all those lor's on which u ticked will be sent to that program.....if you want to send in a new one...you can do that but you will need to inform the pd/pc about the new one...by phone/mail....coz the old one is not going to disappear..instead you send in another lor wich is new nd tel them to hav a look....dats my opinion
