Its very important … that you observe safe sex practices.Unsafe sexual behavior puts you at increased risk for acquiring STD’s as well as transmitting HIV to others
Do you know of any method? The simplest method is to use condoms to dec. transmission & self protection.
The complications of HIV are not only medical but also behavioral and psychosocial. HIV infection decreases ur immunity & 1 can easily get infected by Yeast /viral & bacterial inf (TB) that may involve chest, intestines/ eyes & skin ,brain etc . Its crucial to take the meds regularly & do the F/U tests for monitoring status. However the drugs can hav side effects wo its also important that you report any side effects you may come across.
I can refer you to prevention counseling and risk-reduction support concerning high-risk behaviors (e.g., substance abuse and high-risk sexual behaviors). ( Q. What are we suppose to say regarding which speciality is that ? who are they ?
I can refer you to a thorough psychosocial evaluation. (Q. Who do we have in the hospital that does that ? Is that the famous social worker in hospital? / is it a psychologist ? which specialty am I suppose offer ?
If you wish I can refer you to specific behavioral intervention (e.g., a substance abuse program), mental health disorders (e.g., depression), or emotional distress.
(If HIV is homeless)I can refer you to ------ who might assist you with securing and maintaining employment and housing.
Besides that, I would recommend you to get vaccinated for influenza yrly, and if you weren’t vaccinated in previous 5 years for pneumococcal vaccine then this also.
I will like u to schedule a follow-up visit ..wks/ months from now to ensure that the needed services are being received.
Can some 1 explain in simple words the Q's asked in the script???
