audio/video clips on step2ck will be introduced from august 2007.However,no such changes will be introduced for step1 or step3.these exams will have such clips in 2008.

I read this in usmle site
but I wonder how these questions will look like?
we must practice them before facing in the exam.
any way my exam is in December,  so by then many people will have such a huge experience on them

i wont waste time practising these lame questions as they are only planning to give five or less on a single exam.

I have decided to take the CK in early August, now begin to worry about "A small number of multiple-choice items with associated audio and/or video
clips will be introduced into the USMLE Step 2 CK Examination beginning in
early August 2007." SO I want to take it in the end of July.
Anyone have any experience with ECFMG about change the eligible period? I
just called them , but was told I can not change /move the date ahead . :-(
Anyone have any suggestion?

I read in the ECFMG web site that you can change your eligible period but to the next contagious one [ if you took april-june-july---then you can take aug-september-october]
but I don't think that you can change it to something earlier

I was planning to take my exam in august too....the video/audio is concerning me...because of timing....it takes time to put earphones on and remove them....it might seem miniscule to some....but precious time adds with that.....how do we approach such questions....how would they test us, with audio/video questions?? Basically what kind of questions are they gonna be.
Are these questions gonna count or are they experimental???

my two cents.dont think about the audio/video so much.concentrate on the theory part.it still forms the bulk of our exam.
