I have taken my cs in the latter half of May 2007 in LA. Still waiting for the result. I totally messed up one case because of reading not carefully about the case. Also there is other mistakes although finishes rituals like washing hand, PAMJUGSFOSS etc..
Hand writing the note.

Depends on what you mean by the second half of May. Now scores are released for those who took the exam no later than May 19. If you took it before or on May 19 you may begin to cross your fingers. Don't worry about one case if you did good in the others you should be fine.

a old questions: Is the trick happen at 12:00 PM east time i.e. 9:00 Pacific time???

Yes, usually between 0-1AM EST (3 hours to go), more commonly around 00:45AM EST. Good luck to everyone!

Thank u Dncosta, one further question to be clearified
I heard that if u failed the exam, usually u will get the results later because they will recheck ur score in PN. Any idea?

Hi
They will re-check your PN if you fail but very very close to the passing performance and if the PN is the reason of failing. But, believe me this exam, nobody really knows how it is scored.

It seems sth wrong this week. There is not any score reporting. I called usmle this morning and the agent told me nothing except emphasizing July 18 is the final date and said everything is fine.

I also checked reporting periods for cs of the May of 2006 and found it was between 4weeks to 5 weeks.
Please give some comment. All the waiting just drive me crazy.

I hope not. besides, does the similar situation happen before, I mean no score reporting for a or several weeks. All the gerus, give ur suggestions.

I am also lost. Sat for exam June 1st, expecting results around June 20-27 and nothing. There is no acceptable excuse for that delay, MCQ exams are completely straightforward to score. But they will always find one. To get my CS result, I had to wait for 2 months and 3 weeks

Thank u guys for the discussion here. I personally feel much stronger with so many people shareing their anxious waiting. I reallly appreciated. Looks like we will wait for at least another week or two. Nothing else we can do.
Last question, is it right to say that handwritten PN will definately delay the release of the cs score?
Please advise.

Thank you drxyz. It is very unusual to release on Wednesday, isn't it? Is it mean that we can expect the score released anytime before July 18? I read on USMLE website that the step1 score maybe delayed until July 18. Very confusing.
