In cases like substance abuse or domestic abuse or various neurological diseases and many other diseases,during the counseling part in the end, when we tell the patient that we can help with information about support groups and resources...do we actually have to give him the names of support groups and resources(like govt health websites maybe) or we just say that we will refer her to a social worker who can give her all this information(i dont think this is a good idea)
where can we read about what support groups to advise?
