Intervention is always better than thrombolytics----If the facility is not available in the hospital-->Thrombolytics are used If it is available within 1 hour of travel in another setting--->Intervention is tried in that setting

I thought Q wave only reflects old infarct? So i guess it will depend on the EKG presentation, if presence of ST elevation within 12hrs, thrombolytics.

If Both PTCA and Thrombolytics were in the answer choices and the Hospital has PTCA availbale(i.e Tertiary Hospitals) --> PTCA is the procedure of choice over Thrombolytics Thromboly (w/in 12 hrs of Infarct)
