has anybody done the Mock Exam for step 2. How do you rate it/ Somebody here writes that it is closer to the actual step 2 exam than Kaplan Q bank. Is that true.

i dont know why nobody responded to my question. i needed an answer.
Anyways I spent some time doing the Mock Exam blocks.... too easy and with a lot of buzzwords. It cannot be that simple in the exam... Sure made me feel good though after a dismal 50-55% score on the UW.
I have only 12 days left and I propose to do the downloaded Kaplan q Bank( may be it is an old version) and go over my UW world notes.
What say people?

I think vrajdoc had used this book in his prep, maybe he can guide you better! Do let us know if you managed to make any headway...

I did it, its helpfull but its much easier than any other qbook/bank that I have tried, i was getting 70s to 80s, while getting 50s on UW, but thats encouraging too, so you may just get it, since UW is depressing some times. I dont think it would be a waste of time.

Hey Claudia, has a new version of the book come out? It is not showing up on Amazon! Since you already using it, What are the differences as compared to the old edition?

well, having a book i can say, that Qs are not only unbelievably easy, full of standard phrases and "buzzwords", it IS NOT in format of exam question, so if you want to check how well you know common facts, it's a good book; if you want to train your ability to find information needed to unswer question correctly (it will be burried under the pile of unnecessary facts)and think like on exam, this book is no help to you.
