i dont know whether i m right...
cold nodule is moslty carcinomatous....
hot are usually inflammatory ones......except for conditons like inflamm Ca breast....
some one plz correct me if wrong..thanks

nodules of thyroid can be cold ,warm and hot.
85% are cold, 10% are warm and 5% are hot.
85% of cold nodules are benign, 90%of warm and 95% of hot are benign...so cold nodules are more likely to be cancerous.
