A 60 y.o. man was seen because of progressive bone deformity and pain,progressive hearing loss and increasing skull size.Workup revealed generalized increased bone density with cortical thickening, normal serum ca+2,and phosphorus,and markedly elevated alkaline phosphatase.Biopsy revealed a characteristic "mosaic pattern". i dont know, have to see....but with the first sight.....i feel its metastatic prostate???
i m reading about the mosiac pattern...

F(osteosarcoma) is the correct answer.

The patient history is more suggestive of Paget disease of bone, which is marked by bone pain,anterolateral bowing of long bones, and sometimes high- output heart failure.This disorder is complicated by OSTEOSARCOMA in about 1% of cases.
