A 5-year-old boy with a one month history of fevers and lassitude is found to have severe anemia, moderate thrombocytopenia, and a white blood count of 12,000 cells per mm3. just age and increased wbc. i think ALL. but i will not conxider it a fair qs, because how would u go to bone marrow findings if u have not done manual diff findings.I think following appropriate protocol is also needed.

0-14-->ALL 15-40-->AML 40-59-->AML, CML (if blasts>30%-->AML; if blasts <30%-->CML) 60-on-->CLL These are per Dr. Goljan!! P.S. What are the DOC for each of the categories?
