i had the 2001 LN & then got the 2007, HUGE difference, microbiology is more organized, so is biochem....physio is the same....
um...will make a difference...the only thing i hated before & after is patho....stick to goljan

I bought 2007 version and listen 2001-2002 lectures. I have already hear Anatomy, biochemistry, physio, 1/3 pharm. I think it really wastes money to buy new one as some old ones have more info and I have to go back the CD to print several slides there. At least to me, I don't think 2007 is very important. probably pharm you need a little bit new info but if you do Q bank later on, there is no problem. At least for Ana, bioche, physio, I didn't see any new info. Probably pharm, emphasize certain different drugs. As I don't have printed out notes, I spend money to buy the new one, if you already have old notes, you can save money to buy Q bank. But anyway is my pure personal idea.

There are more end of the chapter qs in the new ones. Immunology is very different from the 2002 ones.

One thing I should clarify, I didn't compare 2007 to 2002. I just listen to 2002 and read 2007. I didn't count review questions or Q-book.

I know physio have alot of different graph, even new concepts not in 2004 dvd or books.
But if to buy new set go for latest one, have old one study with some one with latest one .
2001-02 books, video/dvd different from 2002-04 one, then 2007 , no idea much yet, but neuro has more then the books in dvd 2007 , then as physio are .
All info are from friends at kap as long term students .
But all are depend on your comfort zone in way of studying old version or new one with your financial to buy which yr .
But if say 2002 , if all are 2002 then alot different even compare to 2004 in most subj , no chpt end Q in 2002 at all , that q are especially physio is teaching you more , that not repeat in Q bank, Q books at all and is not usmle style, just the learning tool.
As star said, all books are different with some have this , the other have that , so when ask which to go for , kap said latest is latest exm trend . Also old are thicker some reson from 2001 to 2004 , BUT in 2007 all are very thick, thickest ever agin, no idea why, may be more diagram or Q too . Notes content wise old one can have more content too , but might be too much for the exm.
re web prep, , I 'll rather go to center prep now giving 300$ discount with 1 month free 1100$ , all in US$ or 30 days in 3 mo visit [ if just to fill in the blank of your old dvd, books ] cause web prep only 80 hr, real prep 3 mo. or 1 mo visit can watch 160 hr , your old one is 180 hr dvd . Some claimed, not own experince though said web prep not in video audio [ which was used to be by my knowledge ] , only audio now. I have no idea re this web prep recent one.
Star might verify the current web prep video clip teaching or not .
