hi
i graduated in 1999 and had 1,5 year of general surgery residency in Russia - scores above 220 - any hope for gen surgery res. with no US exp? - i do have a few months before 2cs - should i be desperate to find a spot and get US Lors in research or a few months won't do any good?

I really can't answer for surgery programs as I have no expertise in that at all. The few IMGs that I have known in surgery actually did 1-2 years in an internal medicine program and then transfered in to a surgery program. The scores are good, and that should help.
