Hey neopulsar yup 17% left (second time), just finished dermatology. Not sure about the D day because i haven't paid for the exam yet (waiting a creditcard in the mail ). You are right about the confidence factor my average score in UW is 75% 91st percentile but i didn't take any NBME yet hopefully in a couple of days more after a quick review of psyquiatry and surgery.

Some hemato notes:
- Hemolytic anemia in the setting of lymphoproliferative disorders most likely is warm hemolytic autoimmune type due to anti-RBC Ig G antibodies should be treated with prednisone in divided doses and if ineffective splenectomy.
- Pernicious anemia------>B12 deficiency--------->twice the risk of gastric cancer than general population.
- Leukocyte depletion techniques(cell washing) decrease the risk of post-transfusion febrile non-hemolytic reaction.
- Consider PNH in pancytopenia + hemolytic anemia or recurrent thrombosis at unusual sites(Budd Chiari Sd)
- Treat MALT lymphoma without metastasis with H pylori treatment.

good going Ivonne... I'm proud of you.
I am, for the 50th time trying to get back on track, because i realize again and again how much more there is to study and how slow I'm actually going... Tonight though I have the night for myself and, because I deserve it , I will grab a glass of Merlot, and find a cozy spot to watch "The Holiday"- oh I have a certain passion for Jude Law... - who doesn't??! (for certain brits in general too).. anyway, i'm rambling big time. while you people try to study so hard...
I actually know we all work hard for these exams and hard work pays off in the end. For all of us, it has been a long tiresome yet needed journey, and we have to think that what we learn along the way is not as much for a bunch of exams but for life and future in general.
Have a great afternoon and evening and get a bit crazy at the end of the day. you're worth it.

Hey Alexa LOL , very much needed commentary at this point of the game but let me tell you something I am enjoying this  , it wouldn't be true to say i dedicate 100% of the time to study i really enjoy life and sometimes way too much ...because we all know that once the internship will start there is not time anymore...

Mydream and nany thanks a lot!
UW 8% left i would be extremely happy tonight if i finish up UW for the second time what is wrong with me? (the answer is i want a 99)I didn't do this for step 1(even didn't know about UW, kaplan notes, NBMEs or forums and just finished 70% of kaplanQbank and scored in the 90+). But i think i am spending way to much time in UW ...need to focus in a different material...
Fingers crossed for my NBME tomorrow FINALLY!!
Next step is kaplan Qbank starting the day after tomorrow 2250 more Q and will practice timed unused random questions 150 Q/DAY hopefully 15 days will be enough along with second time kaplan notes reading and watch specific DVDs of Psyquiatry, endocrino and Gynecology. lets get to work! 3 weeks to go (my credit card is not in the mail yet )

Thanks friends for being here for me, i am a bit disappointed by my NBME form 1 score. It was 550 which is not that bad but i want a high score at least 600. Got low performance in OBGYN, Nephro and urology so that means that i have to work harder. I am running for Match09 so i guess got time to improve it. Will come up with a plan soon.
