To all the future Urologists out there (not me)...

What are some clues in a question stem that will help differentiate what type of bladder rupture they are looking for i.e. a contusion, intraperitoneal, extraperitoneal.

My slim understanding is that this is based on how full the bladder was before trauma.

Intra peritoneal rupture is when the bladder is full and thus it breaks at the superior part; if bladder is empty/partially filled it's more likely that it breaks extraperitoneally, that is at the base or lateral borders
