Hi, I am an old medical graduate (Graduated >10years) with green card. I need to know the list of prigrams who accept old IMGs. Thanks

I am also an old graduate like you.
My credentials are 79/76/CS taken. USCE yes. i think we are in the same boat.
Would you mind telling your credentials?

I am old grad of 94. I have been practising Family Medicine back home and in Gulf since graduation. I am Canadian Permanent Resident. "They" have a lot of variation in terms of minimum requirements. The more competitive residency programs won't even look at your application because most of them want less then 5 years graduated people. But if you research, you'll find a place for you. ___________________ 84/99/99, grad. 92, GC, 14 public., 2 y USCE

I forgot who says in the forums and has it as signature: matching is who you know and not so much your credentials.
If the program specify that the cut off is 5 years or that 85 first time is the minimun requirements, I just do not understand how the PD will get you in??? Also I think that the desicion is not only from the PD " I THINK"
But if you have more than 5 years from graduation date, and low scores I think that only GOD will help us, and a couple of good people.

HI,I'M FROM MEXICO,I'M GRADUATE FORM MED SCHOOL IN 1995,DID AN ORTHO RESIDENCY IN MY CONTRY ENDED IN 2001,NOW A DAYS WORKING AS AN ORTOH IN MI CONTRY SINCE I END MY TRAINING. MY QUESTION IS AS AN OLD IMG DO I HAVE A CHANCE TO ENTER IN A RESIDENCY PROGRAM IN THE US IN ORTHO,FAMILIY PRACTICE OR SURGERY?

Ortho- very hard to get in
Surgery- competitive yet I have heard IMGs getting it
FP- relatively less competitive.
