i gave my CS on june 15th at houston....the proctors are very strict...just the moment u hear tht u have to leave the room...they are knocking the door....and most of the cases are frm FA....and each SP will ask one challenging question...i ran out of time in one case and i could not close it.....but gave counselling and answered the challenging question.....thts my first case...so that effect was on second and third cases....i even forgot to drape for the first 2 cases....but asked them relevant history...before going to PAMHUGSFOSS....i asked then whether they have anyother complaints...and then asked PAMHUGS FOSS.....and guys please make note of positive points while asking history because u will forget them while making patient notes.....next i washed my hands in all cases...did general examination...including thyroid....and then did systemic examination...even i made some mistakes in 2 or 3 cases...in every case i heard heart and lungs sounds...did belly examination whenevr i found time....gave counselling for smoking....forgot in one case to give counselling for alcoholism.....showed concern for patients feelings....and coming to the patient note i mentioned most of the positive points and some negative points....wrote the findings...wrote 5 dds (in some cases i wrote only 4)..wrote investigations...but all i m worried is about my hand writing....i just went fast and i dont know whether they can understand my writing or not.....guys practice well..and in fact practice each and every case and simultaneously practice patient notes also...this will help u to save most of the time...and read the dds and investigations....

i dont know whether i am going to pass or fail....guys if u have any opinion regarding my performance pls let me know.....gud luck for everyone who is going to take CS......

i did not count how many cases i got frm FA or UW...but if u read FA well u can take the exam in a easy way...almost all cases are frm FA...anyway u should prepare as if u r ready to take any case..b cos no one can predict which case u may get......and one more thing ..even if u mess up with one case dont get tense...b cos if u become tense u r going to mess up the other cases....this is wht i came to know frm my experience....i messed up my 2nd case but got recovered frm 3rd case....so never feel tense.....gud luck for everyone....
