I know for a certain fact that smoking does NOT aggravate hypertension, although it is additonal RF for atherosclerosis.

Alcohol is the greatest RF for HTN, of all the choices.

i think the exact question wording was an overweight man who smokes and is hypertensive and also drinks and then they wanted to know which is the most important risk factor in his particular case. so i chose the obesity. obviously, if he was of normal weight, it would probably be the alcohol. of smoking i've also read it is not considered...

but rem the question said he used to drink 4 to six cans of beer each night..so which one is more imp risk factor?..i went for alcohol
