73-y/o Caucasian male with a history of Coronary Artery Disease comes with symptoms of occasional palpitation and two episode of passing out. While on the cardiac monitor and being examined the pt. developed asystole what would be your next step in the management of this patient?

A. Confirm asystole in 2nd leads
B. Transcutaneous pacemaker
C. Synchronized cardioversion
D. Asynchronized cardioversion
E. Atropine followed by epinephrine

you are right it's A. I checked on uptodate. It says after abc confirm asystole, so I guess it refers to what you are saying.
