You mentioned that you used pretest after each subject, I am not familiar with this, is it a series of books, question banks, or a downloadable book or question bank? if so, could you tell me where to buy it or downloaded. I thank you in advance!

Hi, thank you for your nice words... let me answer some questions.
regarding kaplan videos I bought them but I think they are available on the net. I saw some torrent links don't know where on the web... try to make a search on torrentspy or on emule
UW, I always used it timed, all subjects, unused, 50qs per bolck. This way it simulates perfectly exam format. Of course it is overall harder than the actual exam even though, as i said, I had a couple of blocks as hard as those on UW. The pattern of exam qs is really close to that of UW, at least the pattern of those qs you have to think about to answer.
Regarding kaplan notes, i can't quantify how many times you should read them to be prepared. I just can tell you that they should be read until you feel you know them and until you score at least 75% or so in a correspondig batch of qs from wherever you want. I used Pretest that even though not great are also not that bad. Only the percentage can tell, not the number of times you read them. I did just one read for some topics and 4-5 reads in other (CNS drugs, Genetics, psych etc)
PreTest is a series of books: they are not great because some qs are too esoteric, but they are the only collection I could find of qs organized topic by topic. I think everything with qs organized in this way could be of the same use. A link to download pretest is available here http://ahmedhakim.125mb.com/pretest/index.html
NetAnatomy, it is true that it's going to become subscription only in a while but using the software WebZip, that you can easily download from the web, you can save the whole website on your PC for offline use
