The pink water fluid described is actually amniotic fluid and is ROM. Even though she still has membranes visable doesnt mean she isnt leaking fluid. Also if no cervix can be felt then it is 100% effaced. This is classical, by-the-book incompetence cervix. Painless cervical dilation leading to the birth of an unviable fetus. Preterm labor occurs >20 weeks.
