Okay so this is the problem. Me and my brother are both doing med. At the moment he is reading through Golijan notes. But just recently we realized that there are 2 sets of Golijan notes.

I have one that says Golijan Vol I(General) and Golijan Vol II (Systemic). Then I have another set and it is also divided into Golijan general and Golijan systemic. But this set contains more pages that the ones that are labelled "Vol".

So now he is the one confused and we dont know what to read or which one to go through. The second set I am refereing to is the one that looks like it was coiled.

Please can someone clear up this confusion and let us know which set to read?

Thanks

2- Rapid Review Biochemistry: With STUDENT CONSULT Online Access (Rapid Review) (Paperback)

Hi,

The older the live lecture notes , the thicker the goljian book is . Start from around 500 page to lesser & lesser 400, 300, then , last or may be not, recent , but may be not most recent even thinner lesser page as 100 around each, but less than 2002,03, 04 I heard , read at kap archieve. The answer, Dr. Golj thought that notes is enough , answer by kap staff.

But the RR Patho, review real text by Golj old one, 5 star red with white cover by mosby is thinner around ??? 300 pages, but now 2nd edition, cover purple, blue with lines, modern style cover the one still mosby , but mainly is by student consult now has around 700 pages with all color pictures in which is not in older RR path.

All students, IMG read any live lecture or RR path they have, can get.

So it's your choice, have time go live lecture thicker one 500 around .
If into all latest then looking for live friend or any one has it to borrow & read.
Same for path RR old & new latest 2006/07 one.

What ever you choose, all are by Golj , so it's your choice, no cofusion, no time for especially if reading 500 around thicker live lecture.

no no (shwe) already made it clear that there are many editions ... just stick to the one that you find giving as much details as you require ...

some people need to study the whole thing all over again ... some others are at the stage of revision ... do whats best for you ...

Hey yoga

Thanks for replying again....I am till on path....I was suppose to be finished a while ago but I dont know why its taking me sooo long. Im kinda stressed but trying to stay sane. Im almost done general now and after I finish a topic I do questions from the Robbins question book and webpath questions. Im not scoring that well but its still something right. Atleast this way I kow how much work I need to put into it. Hopefully it will be easier on my secod read. I do have the Radip Review Golijan book but I have never noticed a CD in there. Maybe I have misplaced it. Im gonna take a look. Thanks soooo much for yur input. I really appreciate it.
