The antigens in thymus dependant humoral immune response show which of the following properties ?
A) are not very common
B) are mainly carbohydrate in nature
C) are exemplified by the polymerizad protein flagellin
D) induce primary IgM response
E) induce an active anamnestic response on booster injection

explain your answer please

E , because memory cells will be formed on first exposure and an active anamnestic response will be produced on booster injection.

polymerizad protein flagellin, such as that found on salmonella is a kind of TI-2 antigen, with repetitive protein epitopes. These epitopes stimulate B cells by cross-linking B-cell receptors and co-receptors so extensively that the need for additional signals from TH2 is overridden.

D is not wrong because both thymus dependant and thymus independant antigens induce IgM response ,

but E is a better choice because thymus independant antigens do not produce memory cells and only thymus dependant antigens induce an active anamnestic response on booster injection .

good question, i think primary IGM response is in lymphnodes, so ans E seems correct. kindly correct if i am wrong
