I just have a crazy idea... tell me what you guys think..

So the SPs have a check list and it doesn't matter in which order you do the procedures right?

So wouldn't it be possible to ask a very focused history covering the basics of the CC and then do a very focused physical.. and then do your closure and answer their difficult question right off the bat.. so that you get everything covered... and then go back and ask other questions and do other PE procedures.. for instance, more of the neuro exam?

would that be strange? i mean then you could make sure that you cover all the bases.. but also do other questions or procedures to snag a few extra check boxes right?

I guess it doesnt matter. But too many to and fros will perhaps disrupt the communication and interpersonal impression. How ? I might be flying quickly through all Hx Q's , following proper P/E protocal, maintaining fluent english proficiency & writing accurate Patient data in notes but I guess its not these things that will make much diff,at this level of testing they are presupposed essentials , rather its the Communication & interpersonal skill protocal that inevitably slows the whole process down. if effectively done with focused Hx/ PE will give pass fail edge,i bet i wont be having this much time to do anything other then focused Hx & Ex.
