How helpful is Qbook for preparation, and assessment? I am considering not taking the NBME, I dont want to lose the confidence I have left!! Is is essential to take the NBME?? Thanks all for your advise.

To be honest with you, I don't think this is necessary to take any NBME, especially when you have just a few days left before the date of you exam... I am not going to...

I think NBME is necessary if you have the option of extending your eligibility. Otherwise, save your 45 bucks.

I still haven't understoot if qbook is actually good. I find it kinda biased: I found a lot of qs I could easily answer without even reading the whole stem just because I watched kaplan videoes and they were written in the same way the lecturer presented the topic during the lecture. In the ob-gyn section for instance you can even recognize if a q was written by Penalver or Sakala according to what it's asked....
