1.5 PLUS 1.5.
1380*180/820*120
1380 is roughly 1.5 times of 820 .
180 is 1.5 times of 120.
we do not need a pencil here.

By ur Explanation the Answer doesnt come close to wht u have predicted if we plus 1.5 and 1.5 the answer is 3 ????
By Epica's Explanation (which Seemed Logical btw) the common denominator was 300 and thus the it was 180/120 = 1.5. We get answer which is in the choices. Choice C is the Answer
Plz Correct Me if i m wrong

i took 180/120 cos the question specifically asked Childless women compared to Women with children. thats wht was confusing me.

incidence rate in childless ppl - 180/1000
incidence in other group - 120/1500
relative risk of getting cancer in 1st population = 180/1000 :120/1500 =2,25

shudnt the denominator be common Like in the Exmple given by Kaplan per 1000 live birth both in Blacks and White. Kaplan Pg 10 Beh Sch 02 edition. ??

per 1000 is incidence rate
you divide incidence rate of disorder in exposed to risk factor group by inc. rate in unexposed
but you don't care if incidence rate is not per 1000 in the problem

i think 7 is I coz qs says late diastolic sound ...AR is early diastolic and heard best at the apex not left parasternl border ....it isS4 bcoz of left atrial contraction due to non compliant ventricle

my answer for qn number 7 is I-S4, cos what is heard is not a murmur, its a late diastolic sound, in a patient who has a history of poorly controled HTN so I am thinking of LV hypertrophy.
