hi ,
after a long time of studying i finally managed to take my test on the 8th of june. i was prepared for the worst and yet hoped for the best ...... n the best is what i got ....
it may sound strange to many but i thought my test was not even close to being difficult . all the subjects were equally tested and what was tested was just the BASICS and nothing else . one could imagine how lucky i got with my test as i was almost saving 11-12 minutes in each n EVERY BLOCK !!!!.
IN INT.MED., plz. master HEMATOLOGY AND ENDOCRINE. I feel i was tested very heavily on these two topics. in obstetrics plz. know everything about 3RD TRIMISTER BLEEDING AND POST PARTUM HEMORRHAGE.in gynecology plz. go through INFERTILITY and AMENORRHEA . in surgery be very well aware of TRAUMA TO THE CHEST WALL . in Pediatrics be very well aware of CONGENITAL IMMUNE DEFICIENCIES and lastly in preventive med., know how to calculate PPV and read BIAS in a study. know every type of SCHIZOPHRENIA.
to my fellow collegues i cannot help but give this advise ...... PLEASE STICK TO THE BASICS AND only IF U HAVE AMPLE TIME THEN GO FOR THE FANCY STUFF .

thanx a lot everybody ,
n for menka... i read kaplan lecture notes and did usmle world . my only advise 2 u would be ....... be thorough in whatever review course u are already studying.

well as u said you r lucky i guess,
i took the test on 6th of june
it was horrible they hit me with 1st 3 blocks like a rock in my head
then started to get better after
by the way
does any one know how the scores are reported ?!!
meaning :
if got hard exam and scored like 94
another got easy and scored gike he mastered it . something like 99.
will it be like this straight forward and we compared to each other like this ?!
