Hello friends, As we are getting closer to the next match process, our time to improve our application is decreasing. Many people say Persistence is the key to get USCE or research but how far one would go. Friends tell me to go to the hospital, talk to PC or PD but when asked specifically many admit they havent done that just heard it from someone. I tried doing that once, I could not even find the PC, the info center wouldnt even tell where the person's office is. To tell you the truth, it was such a big area with so many departments, hospital and centers that you have to drive in between parking lots . Unless you know where you are going and you have an appointment with that person you cant see anyone. -If somehow you do manage to get an observership only in another city, should you move leaving behind your family? HOw far one should go to get USCE? Can People really tell honestly how did they got into that Big University hospital without any contacts. HOw many people actually DO MANAGE TO get USCE and whats the percentage of people who fail to get it despite all reasonable effort? Somehow the list of unanswered questions continue! Only answer i have today is start looking for USCE atleast 1 year efore your intended interview season.
