Ok I just read that they have a standar deviation of 20 and a mean of 200.

They say that 500 is mean for NBME and standard deviation of 100.

Now Im not good with this numbersgrin

1-So that means that most people score a 500shocked
2- What is the error margen I mean if you get a 400 on NBME that could be anything between a 380 or 420?
thanks

I thought the 500 NBME mean = AMGs only, and step 1 200 mean = everyone who took the test? AMG step 1 mean = 215-218, i thought?

I might add that I'm no good with #'s either grin

And what could be the error margen?
+-10 or 20?

I remember that in the USMLE 3 digit score they have a 3 YES 3 points margen of error.

Meaning that if they give you a 183 you actually had a 186shocked
